  • Meeting with the couple

I will meet with the couple, either once or regularly leading up to the ceremony, to get to know them, gain insight as to how they want their ceremony conducted, and ensure they are familiar with all legal requirements.

  • Writing the ceremony

I will write a personalised ceremony, which will be crafted in a way which meets their requirements. I will then show a draft copy of the ceremony structure to the couple, make any required amendments in accordance with their feedback, and provide them with a final copy of the ceremony structure.

  • Facilitating and attending wedding rehearsals

If the couple wish to have a rehearsal, I am happy to facilitate this. This would entail going through the overall ceremony, noting any changes and health and safety requirements, and ensuring that all aspects of the ceremony are clear to all parties involved.

  • Conducting the ceremony on the day

When the special day is finally here, I will arrive approximately one hour before the ceremony, to ensure that any setup requirements are fulfilled. I will then conduct the ceremony at the required time.

  • Finalising the legalities

The final step would entail ensuring the paperwork has been filled out and signed correctly at the ceremony. I will then quietly disappear, and send all relevant documentation to Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM), and send the couple a confirmation email once this has been actioned.
